Just download the installer for each Linux from the site below and run the command below.Īfter installation, if the remote server is located in the local LAN, the server is automatically displayed in NoMachine of the client you want to connect from.

NoMachine supports Windows, Mac, Linux, Raspberry Pi, ARM, etc., almost all O/Ss.

I also installed it on Windows 10, and there is no problem at all. I wasted too much time due to the AnyDesk installation and connection problems. It was installed so easily on Ubuntu, Red Hat (RHEL), Kali Linux, etc., and the connection was seamless without any problems at once. NoMachine is a good alternative for TeamViewer and AnyDesk. Anyway, I tried to solve various issues, but it took a lot of time. Or, even after installation, the keyboard input was not accepted on the login screen.ĪnyDesk and login screen issues (Ubuntu Forums)Īs a workaround, I was able to login by copying and pasting the password, but there was a problem that I couldn't type in several ways. I am currently using AnyDesk 6.0.1 but it seems there is a newer 6.1.1 version available too, I need to check if it has this same issue.Anydesk remote server display not supported e.g Wayland characters repeatedly, and things like that. when I try to write a * on the RPi4 terminal, it starts spamming 8888888.

So at least I know now there is something odd about the AnyDesk connection from Linux Mint 20 to Raspberry Pi4, causing AltGR not working. and AltGR works through this two-hop rerouting. Heck, I just took an AnyDesk connection from my Linux Mint to Windows 7, and then from Windows 7 to Raspberry. However, it seems I have exactly the same issue as you, it is specifically when I take an AnyDesk connection from my Linux Mint 20 PC to the RPi4, when AltGR does not work. I ran raspbi-config to setup keyboard and make sure AltGR was taken into account, but to avail. I operate my Raspberry Pi4 mostly with AnyDesk from other computers, and I thought it is a Raspberry issue that at least sometimes AltGR is not working. Sorry I don't really have a solution, but thanks for your research because I am having exactly the same problem.
